Job summary

RONA is seeking a warehouse associate for a 3-month contract position in Calgary. You will use voice pick technology and RF scanners to accurately pick and restock items, operate multiple material handling devices, and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work well in a fast-paced team, and support various departments while upholding company policies and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation is required or asset.
• Familiarity with voice picking technology is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Able to manage time effectively and solve problems.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and move medium to heavy products safely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a voice pick headset and material handling equipment to assemble customer orders accurately.
• Use an RF handheld scanner to restock the warehouse efficiently.
• Operate various material handling equipment (center rider, pallet jack, reach truck, order picker, lift truck, dock stocker).
• Promote teamwork and contribute to the organization’s success with a positive attitude.
• Adhere to company policies and uphold core values; support multiple departments.
• Assist partner distribution centers as needed and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform facility upkeep tasks and assist with inventory support.
• Demonstrate good coordination with attention to detail; handle merchandise up to 50lbs with team lift as required.

THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF RENEWAL BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS.

Your role:

• Demonstrate good visual and manual coordination with attention to detail
• Handle merchandise up to 50lbs, with team-lift for heavier items
