Job summary

RONA is seeking a warehouse associate for a 3-month contract in Calgary. You will safely load, secure, and ship merchandise, operate a stand-up forklift, and ensure accurate documentation and safe handling.

Ideal candidates demonstrate teamwork, strong customer service, and good organizational and lifting abilities to meet daily loading and packing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with stand-up forklift is an asset.
• Excellent listening, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform tasks involving stretching, bending, lifting and carrying medium to heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and secure customer goods on outbound trailers.
• Drive and operate material handling equipment (stand-up forklift) with fork and/or clamp attachment.
• Hand wrap pallets for loading.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipments.
• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork.
• Provide and uphold a safe working environment.
• Stack products safely and securely to lessen the number of skids or clampable sections.
• Perform all other related tasks.

THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF RENEWAL BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS.

Your role:
