Job summary

Thrive Group Canada is hiring a Temporary Part Time Personal Attendant for our Carey House program in Burlington to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. The role is a 6-month contract with hours that may require a 24/7 schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with providing support services for people with disabilities and/or seniors is preferred.
• Certification in personal support services, health care, and first aid or related certifications is preferred.
• Ability to empathize with people with physical and emotional needs is essential.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support residents' social development and independence.
• Create a supportive environment encouraging residents to reach their fullest potential.
