Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Math and Science instruction with student-centered approaches.
• Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum and Teaching Quality Standard (TQS).
• Ability to design and adapt lessons for diverse learners and grade 6/7.
• Experience reviewing student progress and reporting outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to promote high quality student-centered learning.
• Design and preparing lessons based on the curriculum and diverse methodologies.
• Facilitate inclusive educational practices to maximize opportunities for all students.
• Review and evaluate each student's performance and meet reporting deadlines.
• Adhere to provincial legislation, board policy and division procedures.
• Develop constructive relationships with parents.
• Model commitment to professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
