Job summary

Hypertec Group in Nova Scotia seeks a Construction Project Manager (Contract) to lead mission-critical projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate clients, architects, engineers and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of commercial/industrial construction planning experience, with strong knowledge of regulations, plan reading, and team collaboration. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of commercial and industrial construction project planning experience.
• Solid working knowledge of current construction regulations and plan reading.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full construction project lifecycle from planning through completion.
• Meet with clients, architects, engineers and design personnel to set project plans, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate construction resources and track progress against timelines and budgets.
• Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Act as liaison between client and project team regarding changes or problems.
• Select, negotiate with and coordinate work of vendors, contractors or subcontractors.
• Oversee material management and delivery scheduling in support of projects.
• Track and report progress against milestones and prepare reports for management.
