We are a dynamic team of Professional Civil Engineers, Water Resource Engineers, Project Managers, Technologists, Technicians, Contract Administrators, Site Inspectors, and Administrative Staff. Accardi Engineering Group is a growing full service civil engineering consulting firm with employees with varying expertise from municipal infrastructure design to construction inspection and contract administration, dealing specifically with public sector municipal projects. Since 2013, our team has delivered over 100 public sector municipal projects ranging from watermain, storm and sanitary sewer replacement and/or rehabilitation to full road reconstruction and urbanization. As a Contract Administrator, you will take on a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. You will supervise our dedicated Construction Inspectors, oversee their work and provide guidance to ensure projects are completed in accordance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing and understanding relevant standards and special provisions, interpreting contract drawings and specifications, and liaising with contractors and clients to facilitate smooth projectdelivery.
A key aspect of this role involves inspecting construction operations to ensure compliance with contract documents, quality standards, and safety regulations. You’ll be responsible for verifying quantities, preparing progress reports, and maintaining meticulous documentation to track project milestones and ensure transparency in project management.
Our Contract Administrators actively resolve issues and negotiate any extra work needed to execute each project successfully. We build working relationships with project stakeholders to ease interactions and promote adherence to contract documents.
Position will primarily work in the field.
