Job summary

Architecture49 Inc. is seeking a skilled individual with over 7 years of experience in the construction phase of projects. This role involves coordinating site visits, assisting with quality control, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have sound technical knowledge of building envelopes, Ontario codes, and may communicate in French. A competitive salary ranging from $73,700 to $101,500 based on experience and qualifications is offered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and travel to conduct site visits throughout the Greater Toronto Area, attend site meetings, oversee site activities and provide quality control
• Assisting with project progress and site reports
• Assist with shop drawings, answering Contractor requests for information and issuing contract changes
• Assist with quality control/constructability reviews on drawings and specifications
• Collaborating and coordinating with a multi‑disciplinary team

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects
• Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of codes, and familiarity with Ontario construction practices
• Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training considered an asset
• Ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in French considered an asset
• Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam and Adobe Reader

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$80,800 - 107,000
MB & ON:$73,700 - 101,500
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $73,000 - 96,900
