Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

  • Salary range for Continuous Improvement Manager between $100,000 and $110,000 CAD annually

At our facility in St-Marys, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as the Continuous Improvement Manager:

  • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and coaching to Line Centric Team (LCT) members and facility's team members, fostering operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Actively coach and develop direct team members to enhance their skills, foster professional growth, and ensure the achievement of team objectives
  • Work closely with site management to identify improvement opportunities and support production development, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
  • Maintain and enhance the plant’s continuous improvement program, ensuring alignment with Lean Production System principles
  • Leverage facility's data to prioritize initiatives, define project requirements, scope, resources, team members, tasks, and project owners
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools, and train team members at all levels in methodologies like Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Set-up Reduction, Standard Work, Visual Management, and more

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering buy-in and collaboration across the team.
  • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks, with a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, promoting a collaborative work environment.
