Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Continuous Improvement Agent in Dorval, Canada to lead process‑improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities. You will guide teams to identify waste, map value streams, and implement performance‑driven changes across manufacturing operations.

The role requires 5–10 years in manufacturing, a degree in Engineering/Operations/Business, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred or Green Belt required. Bilingual in French and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• Five to ten years of experience in manufacturing with strong continuous improvement track record.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred or Green Belt required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, FMEA and DMAIC to cut waste and boost efficiency.
• Plan, lead and animate Kaizen events and continuous‑improvement projects with stakeholder engagement and defined outcomes.
• Conduct process mapping and value stream analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
• Design and implement training strategies with stakeholders to strengthen team capabilities in performance management and value delivery.
• Act as a change advocate and subject‑matter expert to align operations to business objectives.
• Develop project timelines and ensure compliance with execution plans, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
• Promote a process‑driven culture with standardized processes and aligned KPIs.

• Act as a change advocate and subject‑matter expert, guiding the organization in adopting Operational Excellence principles as a core approach to managing performance and aligning to business objectives.
• Develop project timelines and ensure compliance throughout execution, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
• Promote a process‑driven culture by supporting standardization, effective use of processes, aligned performance indicators (KPIs), and a strong operational infrastructure.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing environment specializing in continuous improvement, with strong expertise in leading Kaizen initiatives.
• You hold a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• You are recognized as a strong leader with proven experience in change management.
• You are an expert facilitator with exceptional influencing and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• You hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred) or Green Belt certification (required).
• You are bilingual in French and English
