Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Full-time Contents Technician/ Cleaner position at DKI-Pro Pacific’s Victoria location. View details and apply below.

Pro Pacific DKI specializes in commercial and residential disaster restoration services. When our clients experience a fire, flood or other disaster, natural or man-made, we respond 24/7/365 to help them recover and get things back to normal.

We have an immediate opening for a Mitigation Technician/Contents Technician at our Victoria Branch. Occasional travel between branches may be required.

What You will Do:

  • Mitigation & Remediation Support: Assist in activities such as water extraction, minor demolition, debris disposal, and re-setting contents.
  • Contents Handling: Participate in inventory management, packing and cleaning contents on-site, and providing post-construction cleaning services.
  • Project Management: Contribute to multiple projects daily, with opportunities to learn new skills as you gain experience.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all stages of the restoration process.
  • Safety First: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation that may occasionally include after-hours and weekend call-outs.

What You Bring:

  • Positive Attitude & Teamwork: A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Tool Proficiency: The ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
  • Willingness to Learn: A desire to develop new skills and grow within the industry.
  • Background Check: A clean criminal record related to the scope of work.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License: A satisfactory driving record is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Related IICRC certifications are an asset.
  • Interest in Health & Safety: A commitment to workplace safety, with an interest in First Aid and other safety certifications.
