Stingray is seeking a Content Specialist: Linear Channels to join our Content and Programming team in Montreal. This is a 13-month maternity-leave contract reporting to the Manager of Linear Video Programming, offering a dynamic environment for music enthusiasts.

The role involves scheduling linear content for channels worldwide, coordinating schedules, contributing to programming strategies, managing CMS content, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams in Montreal and internationally.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in television programming, production, or TV/video content distribution.
• Familiarity with traditional television, FAST, and/or VOD platforms.
• Written and spoken English; ability to communicate in French.

• Schedule linear content (program schedule) for Stingray channels worldwide.
• Coordinate and execute linear and non-linear schedules per strategy and guidelines.
• Contribute to channel programming strategies, content selection, and monthly highlights.
• Coordinate operations related to channel programming.
• Manage, maintain, and update the content inventory in the CMS.
• Create and manage content information (descriptions, TV ratings, rights, coding, etc.).
• Maintain relationships and communication with external clients.
• Analyze channel data and content performance.
• Work with marketing and sales teams in Montreal and internationally to promote channel content and highlights.

We are currently seeking a Content Specialist: Linear Channels to join our Content and Programming team. This position reports to the Manager of Linear Video Programming. This is a 13-month temporary contract to cover a maternity leave.

Your day-to-day

• Schedule linear content (program schedule) for various Stingray video channels offered via streaming (FAST) worldwide.
• Coordinate and execute linear and non-linear schedules in accordance with the Programming Director’s strategy and guidelines.
• Contribute to channel programming strategies, content selection, and monthly highlights.
• Coordinate operations related to channel programming.
• Manage, maintain, and update the content inventory in our CMS.
• Create and manage content information (descriptions, TV ratings, rights, coding, etc.).
• Maintain relationships and communication with external clients.
• Analyze channel data and content performance.
• Work closely with Stingray’s internal marketing and sales teams in Montreal and internationally to promote channel content and programming highlights.
• Other related tasks

Your Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in television programming, production, or TV/video content distribution.
• Familiarity with traditional television, FAST, and/or VOD platforms
• Written and spoken English. This position also requires the ability to communicate in French.
• Experience with content scheduling tools and software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with task management tools such as Jira and Wrike
• Strong judgment, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach
• Team spirit and collaboration skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong ability to coordinate projects in a media environment: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and propose solutions
• Knowledge of languages other than English and French is a plus
