Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Toronto is seeking a Content Lawyer (Capital Markets and M&A) to create practical guidance for Canadian professionals. You will develop notes, checklists, flowcharts and precedents, ensuring currency and relevancy while collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Capital Markets and Public M&A, strong writing and presentation skills, and a proficient use of AI/LLM tools. French language is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D./LL.B. and active, in-good-standing Canadian bar.
• 3+ years in Capital Markets, Securities and Public M&A law.
• Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and related M&A workflow.
• Strong, practical writing with clear communication.
• Experience drafting/editing client materials, journals or CLEs.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with AI/LLM tools.
• French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Write, review and edit practice notes, checklists, flowcharts and precedents.
• Ensure currency and relevancy of all materials.
• Monitor trends and developments in Capital Markets and M&A.
