Job summary

Creative Circle in Toronto is seeking a Content Designer / UX Writer for a 12+ month, 40-hour week onsite role. You will create and write deliverables across wireframes, site maps, onboarding flows, micro-copy, and content strategies, collaborating with UX Designers and other writers.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of UX writing or content design experience, a strong portfolio, and familiarity with mobile-first design, design systems, and Agile workflows.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience as a UX Writer or Content Designer.
• Portfolio of samples to showcase, ie case studies.
• Experience with native apps and responsive web (mobile-first).
• Ability to write clear, user-centered content within design systems.

Responsibilities

Our agency client is looking for a Content Designer / UX Writer to join their team.

This will be 12+ months, 40 hours per week, onsite downtown 4x per week.

Rate range is $50-60 per hour, t4.

What you'll be doing:

Creating and writing deliverables including: wireframes, site maps, onboarding flows, micro-copy, content strategies, user journeys, interviews, surveys etc.

You will be working on a team of UX Designers and UX Writers.

Planning, creating, and managing content to ensure it is clear, engaging, and valuable for its target audience.

Creating content strategies that focus on the digital product by using design thinking.

Designing and delivering product flows, new features, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation, product naming and more.

Skills required:

Deep UX writing and content design expertise for native apps and responsive web, mobile-first

Strong content strategy and information architecture skills, with the judgment to set the standard for others

Experience shaping and scaling content within complex design systems (voice, tone, terminology, content patterns), not just working within them

Fluency in Lean UX and leading content work inside Agile dev teams

3-8 years of experience as a UX Writer or Content Designer.
