We are currently looking for a Content Coordinator to join our Content team. In this role, you will be responsible for the content coordination and proofreading of retail flyers and specialty programs. Hybrid work mode.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

• Provide flyer content analysis and proofreading services.
• Analyze and interpret flyer data (products, pricing, zoning) to determine impact of change.
• Determine organization of page content in accordance with client flyer guidelines.
• Review flyer copy for effectiveness, accuracy, clarity and consistency, including spelling, punctuation, format, style and pricing.
• Ensure copy adheres to established guidelines, brand style guides and creative strategy.
• Electronically transfer client requests to databases and proofs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maximize overall efficiency of workflow.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

• Degree or diploma in English, journalism, project management or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a proofreader is preferred, but not essential
• Proficient in Canadian English language - Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of French as well
• Technical proficiency, with experience using Mac computers and familiarity with Adobe InDesign an asset
• Superior attention to detail
• Demonstrated aptitude for data management, problem-solving and interpreting complex instructions
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines, independently and in conjunction with various internal teams and clients
• Flexible and adaptable to changing client standards
