Job summary

RUX, based in Squamish, seeks a native social media pro who lives and breathes Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll own day-to-day social channels, filming and editing on an iPhone, crafting captions, and developing a recurring signature content series.

You’ll travel to events and field shoots, engage the community, and help grow followers while maintaining a high-quality feed and cadence. This is a full-time, on-site role with field travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of running social channels for a brand, creator or yourself with demonstrable work.
• Deep knowledge of what works on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Working knowledge of YouTube: thumbnails, titles, playlists, Shorts vs long-form.
• Fast, confident shooting and editing on a phone.
• Track record of building and engaging a community through social.
• Sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of curation.
• Clear writing with personality; ability to match brand voice.
• Organized to hit a demanding cadence without dropping quality.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, comfort driving large vehicles.
• Ability to work from Squamish and travel regularly, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Film, capture and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, mostly on an iPhone.
• Use in-platform tools and apps like Instagram Edits and Adobe Rush to move from idea to published quickly.
• Edit on the fly from the studio, on the road, at events and in the field.
• Write captions and hooks that sound like RUX.
• Help develop and run a signature content series that gives our channels a recurring anchor.
