Job summary

CanadianSIM is seeking a hands-on social media and content professional to own our organic presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook in the GTA.

You will plan, shoot and edit short-form videos, write captions, monitor conversations, and grow a community of followers while maintaining brand voice.

This role requires 3+ years of experience and a portfolio; occasional travel to airport locations across the GTA is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of social media or creator experience for a brand or business.
• Portfolio or reel featuring short-form video you shot and edited.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar editing tools.
• Clear written English with a consistent brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Manage CanadianSIM's social media handles day to day: publishing, monitoring, comments, DMs, and audience engagement.
• Grow a relevant follower base and improve organic reach through consistent content and testing.
• Plan, shoot and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Film customer testimonials and arrival-day content at airport locations across the GTA.
• Explain filming processes clearly and obtain written consent/releases.
• Create captions, subtitles, thumbnails, carousels, story frames and graphics.
• Produce marketing assets for digital and print while maintaining brand consistency.
• Own and maintain a content calendar across all platforms.
• Build a library of footage, templates and finished assets.
• Engage with newcomer/international student communities and admins.
• Develop a customer-generated content program and identify content for paid amplification.
• Review performance data and report monthly on learnings and changes.
