What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Capital Market Technology group, specifically the Client Delivery Services team. You’ll be responsible for providing investigation and second level support on client issues, technical issues, system/web site outages, and questions from all internal and external applications by maintaining, prioritizing, and addressing to respective CIBC technology groups and vendors. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the production applications and day-to-day operational activities, managing escalations, and modifying established procedures/approaches to suit specific situations, including 24x7 support and recovery coordination.

At CIBC, we enable the most optimal work environment for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement, spending 1-2 days per week on-site, with other days remote.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Production support: Investigate and define operational issues, prioritize based on severity, risk, and strategic business needs. Manage issue logs and Contact Centre requests. Design and implement solutions to prevent recurrence, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Partnership: Work as a liaison with business partners, technology teams, senior management, and clients. Keep internal clients informed of team mandates, policies, and legislative changes. Promote and support the concepts, products, and services of the Channel Support area.
  • Projects delivery: Act as a subject matter expert assessing impacts for system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Privacy). Develop and maintain relationships with Technology, QA, and Project teams. Research, evaluate, and support new policies, procedures, and standards. Investigate issues and outages, providing recommendations.
Who You Are
  • You have 3-4 years of SQL experience and 1-2 years in Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of Capital Markets products/services, and experience with Fenergo/Cora, Cognos, .NET C# Development, and Salesforce is a plus.
