Position overview:

The Consultant in Performance, Accountability, and Funding Allocation will navigate the healthcare landscape to influence regional Performance Management and enhance Ontario Health's external presence in the Regions. The role involves managing challenges during change, leveraging data and analytics to improve operational performance, and ensuring processes are leading-edge to maximize efficiencies. The Consultant will work within the Ontario Health Team to promote integrated care and system transformation.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing initiatives to advance integrated care, leading partnership projects, and building system capacity through strategic relationships. The role also involves high-level management of funding and performance matters for community health service providers, engaging with senior leadership, and acting as the face of Ontario Health Regions in accountability and performance management.

Essential duties include:

  • Leading regional performance and funding strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Overseeing financial allocations and funding plans
  • Building and maintaining strategic partnerships to foster integrated healthcare
  • Participating in decision-making processes impacting system transformation

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least eight years of healthcare management experience, with five years in leadership roles
  • Proven ability in building partnerships, strategic planning, and financial management
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge of Ontario's healthcare system and its stakeholders

Location: Toronto, Ontario (hybrid; subject to change)

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Salary Band: Band 7
