Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant, working from anywhere in Canada, to join the BDO team and support the Cyber Offensive Security delivery team with the following responsibilities:

• Participating in Application & Network Penetration Tests to assess customer environments and custom applications for vulnerabilities.
• Participating in Red-Team and Adversary Simulation exercises using advanced techniques to identify vulnerabilities in people, processes, procedures, and technology stacks.
• Utilizing Social Engineering, Hardware Hacking, Network Implants, Physical Bypass techniques, and evasion capabilities in Physical Site Penetration Testing.
• Contributing to R&D in new exploitation techniques and strategies to improve client engagement effectiveness and efficiency.
• Authoring detailed, high-quality reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contributing to thought leadership through articles, publications, and conference presentations.
• Interfacing with clients to ensure smooth testing and assessment projects, and explaining findings related to Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Interest and dedication to cybersecurity, demonstrated through activities like bug bounty programs, CTF tournaments, or industry events.
• Progress towards relevant Offensive Security certifications such as OSCP, CRTP, eWPT, GPEN.
• Skills in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Powershell.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Federal Security Clearance.
• Located in Canada.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Risk Assessments against industry frameworks.
• Knowledge of Application Security concepts like SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Understanding of SOC responsibilities and tools.
• Cloud Security capabilities in Azure, AWS, and GCP.
