Ontario Creates is seeking a dynamic Production Consultant to drive the growth of Ontario’s vibrant film and television sector. With your extensive industry knowledge and marketing expertise, you will promote Ontario as a premier destination for film and television production. Your role will involve crafting innovative marketing strategies, fostering strategic partnerships, and connecting local talent with global opportunities, ensuring Ontario remains a leader in this creative industry.
You will represent Ontario at major industry events, build relationships with domestic and international stakeholders, and provide top-tier consultation services. Your ability to analyze trends, resolve challenges, and identify growth opportunities will be essential in supporting the economic development of Ontario's film and television sector. Ontario Creates is an agency of the provincial government whose mandate is to be a catalyst for economic development, investment and collaboration in Ontario's creative industries, including the music, book, magazine, film, television and interactive digital media sectors, both domestically and internationally. This position sits within the Ontario Film Commission, which promotes the province as a preferred destination for film and television investment, offers production consulting services, and leads capacity growth initiatives.
