Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and forward-thinking Digital Producer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging creative vision and execution, managing digital production workflows across photo and video assets, and driving operational efficiency.

This is a 12-month contract position offering a remote, with day travel required for on-set shoot supervision in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as needed.

Description

As a Digital Producer, you will take ownership of end-to-end creative workflows, breaking down complex briefs into seamless production cycles. You will act as the operational anchor between creative talent, external partners, and internal business partners—ensuring projects deliver on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standard. In addition to day-to-day project leadership, you will play a key role in design operations, identifying workflow bottlenecks, and leveraging emerging AI and automation tools to continuously optimize and refine production pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Scoping and Workback Schedules: Break down creative briefs into actionable sprint tasks, build milestone timelines, and establish clear delivery dates working backwards from marketing or product launch deadlines.
  • Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning: Track team bandwidth, onboard and coordinate freelance talent, and manage agencies, photographers, and other external production vendors.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Account Management: Oversee project intake and brief triage, coordinate design reviews, and provide regular, proactive status updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Design Operations & Process Optimization: Evaluate production workflows, actively identifying ways to automate and refine processes.
  • Production Oversight: Manage photo and video production logistics, set turnaround expectations for post-production/editing, and attend shoots on set to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of production experience, ideally combining production coordination and creative project management (1–2 years as a producer).
  • Proven experience in digital production, specifically across photo and video workflows, with an understanding of production timelines and post-production editing turnaround times.
  • Experience in an in-house environment is preferred over agency-only experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse personalities, remain composed under pressure, and navigate dynamic production environments.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel.
  • An active interest in AI tools and modern technologies to improve and automate creative workflows.
  • Video editing and Photoshop skills are considered an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license (G License) and reliable access to a vehicle to travel on set as required.
