Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Consultant with 2–5 years of post-graduate experience to support planning, coordination, and data-driven decision making on construction projects in Canada. You will assist with site visits, collect and validate data for reporting, and help ensure quality and timely delivery across commissions.

Responsibilities include monitoring reports for lenders, schedule reviews, cost tracking, risk identification, and market research.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, consulting, project management, project controls, or development sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities with large datasets and data-driven decision making.
  • A recognized university degree.

Who are you?

You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your work, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working with complex project information. You have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to translate large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights that support project delivery and client success.

You are an experienced Consultant with a minimum of 2-5 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

Job Description

As a Consultant, you will be involved in:

Assisting with the planning, coordination, and logistics of site visits, including scheduling, documentation management, and follow-up action tracking.

Gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing project data to support reporting, project monitoring, and client decision-making.

  • Preparing Monthly Monitoring Reports for lenders for all asset classes through the Construction Phase

Supporting project controls activities including schedule reviews, cost tracking, risk identification, progress monitoring, and performance reporting.

Research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data

Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared.

Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits

Ensuring commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time

Ensuring service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment

Qualifications

2-5 years of relevant experience within the construction, consulting, project management, project controls, or development sectors.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.

Demonstrated analytical capabilities, including experience working with large datasets, project reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

A recognized university degree

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Range are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
