Job summary

TKL Group in the Niagara Region of Ontario is seeking construction laborers for on-site work. You will load and unload materials, assist skilled trades, direct traffic and help with forms, scaffolding, and site cleanup. No previous experience is required as training is provided, and English is helpful for communication.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Assist skilled tradespersons.
• Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck.
