Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a dependable construction labourer to work on-site at various locations in Halifax. You will load, unload, mix materials, erect forms, and assist with pipelines and building tasks.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 45 kg, a high school diploma, and 1–2 years of experience. Teamwork and safety gear are essential, with on-site responsibilities and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
