Job summary

PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a Construction Technology Analyst to join our team. You will resolve user-reported problems, manage district sites, and deliver training and resources to ensure reliable technology across projects.

The role requires a high school diploma and a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology, along with 5 years of progressive experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or related discipline.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with multitasking ability.
  • Ability to drive deadlines and work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and procedures.
  • District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support.
  • Creates and delivers technical training and resources.
  • Administers district office and construction site servers and tech solutions.
  • Accurate logging of problems and resolutions in the problem-management database.
  • Assists other team members with technical issues.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
