Job summary

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in Edmonton is seeking a Construction and Maintenance Health and Safety Advisor (EG-06) to support safety programs across construction and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent as noted in the job posting.
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or acceptable education/experience related to construction or maintenance safety.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional or equivalency.
• Certified in a construction or maintenance compulsory or voluntary trade.
• Experience interpreting and applying federal occupational health and safety acts and regulations.
• Experience delivering health and safety training programs or information sessions, in person and virtually.
