Job summary

Anthem Properties is seeking a Site Safety Advisor to maintain, monitor and advise on project safety programs across Alberta. You will work with Safety Managers to guide site teams, build relationships with trade partners and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will conduct meetings, lead safety inspections, review permits and safety procedures, and mentor field crews to uphold our safety standards. COR certification is highlighted, with ongoing opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• A current CSO certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in safety on construction sites.
• Industrial First Aid Level 2 certification with transportation endorsement.
• Strong organization and people skills are essential.
• Trade background strongly preferred.
• Proficient with electronic safety systems such as SiteDocs.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and perform formal site inspections daily.
• Collect and review safety forms and permits (e.g., FLHA, Ground Disturbance, Hot Work, Lead Edge).
• Provide safety and environmental guidance to the superintendent.
• Complete incident investigation reports as required.
• Review toolbox minutes and hazard assessment forms; track site safety inspection reports.
• Complete safety orientations and Site-Specific Safe Working/Job Procedures.
• Review Fall Protection plans and support field personnel on safety applications.
• Attend and contribute to trade safety start-up meetings and monthly safety actions.
