Pomerleau invites applications for a Scheduling Coordinator Intern to support major construction projects across Canada. You will help prepare schedules, develop CPMs, draft notes, and maintain visuals from schedule data, with weekly project reviews and interactions with project teams.

The role targets graduates or soon-to-be graduates in civil/construction engineering. Internships on projects are assets; proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS and Office 365 is valued, along with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (or diploma).
• Internships on construction projects are an asset.
• Interest in Primavera P6, MS Project, or TILOS or other planning software.
• Office 365 proficiency.
• Fluency in English is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling on one or two projects simultaneously.
• Assist in proposal phase scheduling and work sequence prep.
• Develop CPM on projects and draft assumption/progress notes.
• Carry out schedule updates as required by the project team.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure data integration in schedules.
• Set up visuals from schedule data and maintain them.
• Monitor execution phase for critical activities and risks.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and report to Team Leader.
• Assist in resource loading and load curve creation.
• Participate in site visits and project reviews.
