As a Construction Quality Manager working in the Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in managing the design development and technical aspects of design-build construction projects. Your work will support large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. The Construction Quality Manager supports the Quality Director in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing the Quality Plan and policies, overseeing the organization’s Quality performance, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

What You Will Do

Provide guidance and ensure consistent implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System across all project phases.

Facilitate Continual Improvement initiatives, including Corrective Actions and Opportunities for Improvement.

Manage the organizational knowledge process.

Record and follow up on Quality Working Groups’ meetings.

Ensure project staff and stakeholders are trained and familiar with the QMS.

Prepare and record training related to QMS and support technical training delivery.

Monitor KPIs and other metrics related to QMS effectiveness.

Assist the Quality Director with the implementation of the Quality Audit Program Plan.

Support the preparation and release of the Quality Management System reports.

This role could be for you if you have

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in Quality Management on heavy civil construction projects, especially in rail, transit, transportation, or infrastructure projects of similar size and complexity.

Proven experience in developing project quality plans and implementing a quality management system.

Experience developing Quality Control Plans, QA plans, Inspection and Testing Plans, and managing non-conformance systems.

ISO Lead Auditor certification and experience with ISO 9001 management system are required.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $97,000 - $131,000. Salaries may vary based on experience and location. Compensation includes benefits and bonuses, which are detailed above. Benefits availability may vary by role.
