We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with Airport experience to be responsible for handling our client capital projects from pre-construction through to post-construction. You will be working closely with your project team to ensure that all project requirements, financials, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and executing effective project communication plans. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. **Key Accountabilities:** · Project Financials · Schedule Adherence and Optimization · Client Experience · Resources · Site Health & Safety · Specifications & Quality **Responsibilities:** · Understand the airport facility and the unique and complex setup requirements of a project in an airport. · Plan all phases of the construction project lifecycle from initiation to completion. · Communicate with clients and delivers project progress reports. · Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan. · Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans. · Collaborate with the Site Supervisor and Project Coordinator to ensure the schedule and deliverables of the project. · Ensure the order of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment. · Accurately and efficiently prepare documents for permit approval working in collaboration with the airport authorities. Executing and closing out jobs are critical to the success in this role. · Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists. · Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations collaborating with the relevant internal and external resources. · Update schedules, track progress, and document project progression. · Ensure the timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties. · Ability to manage and mitigate risks. · Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card [RAIC] for security clearance, and a Driving Airside (DA) licence to permit use of Royalty’s Airside Vehicle Operators’ Permits [AVOP]. · This role will work daily from the Royalty airport office at 6300 Silver Dart Dr, Mississauga. **Your Qualifications & Skills Include** **· Proven construction project management experience in airport environment is required.** · Excellent knowledge of **construction management delivery mode**l. · The ability to build **strong relationships** with clients, project team members and contractors. · The ability to lead a team by being an **effective communicator** and fostering a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together. · The ability to lead and mentor a project team. · The ability to manage multiple projects and team resources. · Excellent **time management and organization skills**. · **Critical-thinking and problem-solving**. · Competent in conflict and crisis management. · **Excellent at budgeting**. · Experience using **Microsoft Project**. · Education in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related degree. · **Valid Health & Safety certifications,** an asset. · Project Management certification, an asset. · **Min 5 years** of construction project management experience. **We Offer** · Comprehensive group insurance, health & wellness benefits · 3 weeks Vacation and PTO · Cellphone allowance · Work boot program · and more...
