Job description

A well-established consulting firm is growing its Transportation Team and seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead key infrastructure projects in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.

Join a team of 40+ professionals working on innovative urban and rural transportation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

You'll manage transportation construction projects from start to finish—ensuring everything runs on time, on budget, and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities

Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, and project stakeholders

Prepare tender documents, specs, and contract administration

Oversee site activities and compliance with contract requirements

Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

Support inspections, prepare deficiency reports, and handle certifications (CCC / FAC)

Your Background

Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma or related education

7–10 years of transportation construction field experience

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to rural Alberta

Proven experience with writing and preparing construction specifications

Nice-to-Haves

Background as a Contract Inspector, Administrator, Project Coordinator, or PM

Experience with topographic survey coordination, grading layout, and underground utilities (storm, sanitary, water)
