Job summary

Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead planning, budgeting, and delivery of multi-site construction projects on our Contracts team.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, vendor negotiation, site safety oversight, and collaboration with clients and design teams; travel and on-site work are frequent in this hybrid position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a construction project management role.
• Experience negotiating with vendors, subcontractors, and clients in a construction project context.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plan drawings and construction documents.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Post-secondary education in construction management, project management, or a related trade is considered an asset.
• PMP certification is considered an asset and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of construction projects, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Assist the estimator in preparing project budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and clients as required.
• Develop full-scale project plans, define tasks and resources, and coordinate staff.
• Manage day-to-day project aspects including budget and scope.
• Plan and schedule timelines; track deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to the project team and vendors throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders; present progress, problems, and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes to achieve outputs.
• Perform project evaluations and assess results.
• Communicate regularly with design team and client across all phases.
• Conduct quality assurance across project delivery and site safety compliance.
• Adhere to company policies; perform related duties as required.
