Job summary

Third Space Contracting LTD. is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support the delivery of wood-frame multifamily and purpose-built rental projects in Vancouver.

This site-based role works closely with the Project Manager, Site Superintendent, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to manage documentation, procurement, scheduling, and reporting. You will gain exposure to all aspects of construction delivery and have opportunities for growth within a growing self-perform

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator/Administrator role.
• Experience supporting multifamily residential, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional construction projects is an asset.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and documentation.
• Experience with construction management software; Procore experience is a strong asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and site team in the delivery of wood-frame multifamily and purpose-built rental projects.
• Maintain project documentation, including correspondence, drawings, specifications, contracts, meeting minutes, and records.
• Ensure project files are complete and maintained in Procore and other systems.
• Coordinate and maintain project logs (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, site instructions, change orders).
• Assist in subcontractor and supplier agreements; support procurement activities and onboarding.
• Coordinate collection and maintenance of subcontractor documentation (insurance, WorkSafeBC, contractual requirements).
• Assist with material procurement, delivery coordination, and tracking long-lead items.
• Support monthly cost reporting, budget tracking, forecasting, and progress claims reviews.
• Assist in preparing project reports, cost reports and status updates.
• Support development and maintenance of schedules, look-ahead plans, milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to resolve issues.
• Participate in meetings, document action items, and follow up on commitments.
• Assist with quality control, turnover, warranties, and close-out activities.
• Support occupancy, handover and close-out processes; assist in transitioning to property management.
