Job summary

Metric Geo is partnering with a leading design-build contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager in Toronto, Ontario. You will lead modular cleanroom, controlled environment, and mission-critical projects from preconstruction through completion while coordinating field operations with the Superintendent and project team.

You will drive design/build execution, manage budgets, schedules, risk, and safety, and mentor junior PMs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of construction experience directly related to the responsibilities.
• Experience with Sage/Timberline, Procore, and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of construction projects from preconstruction to completion.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and project team to meet schedule and budget.
• Review designs and specs; advise on design revisions for function and standards.
• Manage subcontracts, insurance, bonding, and compliance.
• Monitor safety, quality control, and project costs; prepare cost reviews.
• Lead procurement with estimators, buyers, and schedulers.
• Maintain client relations and project documentation in Procore.
