Job description

Brandt is currently seeking 2nd year to Journeyperson Plumbers for our Brandt Developments division. Working out of our Regina, Saskatchewan office, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple large commercial projects, as well as renovations throughout Canada. This will require a rotating on and off schedule working multiple days in a row and then multiple days off.

Brandt is a diverse manufacturing and distribution company that makes equipment for contractors, farmers, landscapers, loggers, manufacturers, miners, pipeliners, railways, roadbuilders and steelmakers. That commitment includes ongoing renovations, additions and maintenance at our facilities.

We’re looking for experienced tradesmen that are passionate about construction and take pride in their work. Backed by a strong support team, this is a great opportunity to work together with a skilled team on small, medium and large construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Building maintenance and repairs
2. Complete small renovation projects
3. Supervise activities of subcontractors personnel on larger jobs to ensure that work is being performed in compliance with Brandt’s standards
4. Complete all work in accordance with Brandt’s safety procedures
5. Complete all work within schedule and budget
6. Work with the foremen, project managers and designers to manage issues in design, material supply and coordination.

We are interested in a variety of experience levels, including apprentices and journeyperson. The ideal candidate will have:

1. A passion for construction
2. Excellent organization & communication skills – written and verbal
3. Excellent work ethic including the ability to work with minimal supervision
4. The ability to travel as necessary
5. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
6. Journeyperson Trades Certificate is considered an asset
