CGI Constructors in Winnipeg is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversee all active projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will ensure operations align with strategic goals, policies, and profitability while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of construction management, 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and quality practices.
• Understanding of drawings, specifications, and building practices.
• Experience with project forecasting, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience working on Healthcare, Higher Education, or Government/Institutional projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for active construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ensure operations align with strategic goals, policies, and profitability.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and initiate corrective actions; elevate when needed.
• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Oversee regional program, project performance, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents for delivery.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocation across projects.
• Support mentoring and workforce development initiatives.
