CGI Constructors in Winnipeg is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through closeout. You will develop schedules, budgets, allocate resources, and coordinate with contractors and clients to meet milestones.

Applicants bring 5+ years in construction management, strong leadership, excellent communication, risk and quality management, and a proactive approach. Procore experience is a plus; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A diploma or university degree in construction management preferred or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Experience using Procore is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to achieve project goals.
• Lead, manage and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives and milestones.
• Identify potential risks and develop risk management plans to mitigate any negative impact on the project.
• Develop and implement quality management plans and processes to ensure that the project meets or exceeds the required quality standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
• Oversee contracts and agreements, including reviewing proposals and negotiating terms, to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the project outcomes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, identify critical path activities, set milestones, and track progress against the schedule.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure that changes are properly documented, approved, and communicated to all stakeholders.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to throughout the project, including managing the risks associated with construction sites.
• Create and distribute regular project status reports, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments, to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
