Dumas Contracting Ltd. in Timmins is seeking Construction Miners to build and maintain critical underground infrastructure across multiple sites. You will install ground support, shotcrete, ventilation systems, and mine services while adapting to 10-12 hour shifts on varied schedules.

Wages range from $54.99 to $70.00 hourly, with site-specific allowances and bonuses tied to performance. Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of underground mining construction experience and hold the Ontario

• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Core with Specialty Modules in Construction (or provincial equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of underground mining construction experience.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
• Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Perform underground construction tasks such as shotcreting, cement work, and installation of ventilation walls and ducts.
• Install and maintain mine services (air, water, pumping systems).
• Build and maintain underground infrastructure (refuge stations, storage areas, ventilation doors).
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.

Position: Construction Miners -Multiple Projects (Various Sites across the Timmins Camp)

Rotation: 7/7, 14/14, 4/5/5/4

Shift: 10 - 12 Hour shifts, depending on the site schedule

Wage: $54.99 - $70.00

Potential Renumeration: KPI Bonus - Referral Bonus

Travel/Accommodations/Meals: Per Site Specific Allowance

About The Role

As a Construction Miner at Dumas, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining underground infrastructure critical to mine operations.
