Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Construction Manager - Formwork Will to lead project design, construction and warranty handover, ensuring work aligns with design, budget and schedule goals.

You will coordinate planning, scheduling and engineering functions, develop comprehensive construction schedules, and supervise project teams across assigned projects. A strong travel willingness outside Edmonton and CSID clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years supervisory or equivalent experience in ICI Construction and/or Formwork Construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Experienced in managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
• Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules.
• Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
• Ensure project safety standards, company, client policies and environmental programs are adhered to.
• Lead and develop area initiatives and best practices that align with the business goals.

You As a Construction Manager - Formwork Will

Is this the right role for you?

• 15 - 20 years supervisory or equivalent experience in ICI Construction and/or Formwork Construction
• Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Experienced in managing and developing a team
• Willingness to travel as needed outside of Edmonton
• Must have, or be eligible for, CSID (PWSGC) Secret Level Security Clearance.
