Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Construction Coordinator Technologist Co-op for a Winter 2027 term, reporting to the Lead Construction Services, Water Business Unit, and supporting projects from the Mississauga office. The role offers exposure to complex projects and mentorship within a diverse team across locations.

You will assist with on-site technical issues, manage documentation, monitor activities, and contribute to safety.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering Technology program in Construction Management or Civil, Electrical, I&C, or Mechanical Engineering program, from an accredited College.
• Excel academically while being actively involved in extracurricular and/or volunteer activities at school or in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site technical issues.
• Manage construction documentation between the Constructor and the Engineer, such as submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, project schedule adherence and compliance with drawings, and specifications and codes, through regular inspections.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with the preparation of field material requisitions.
• Prepare punch lists.
• Maintain the highest level of safety awareness and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest safety standards.

Compensation:

Range: $24.00 - $27.00

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
