Job summary

Forest Group in Vaughan, Canada, seeks an experienced construction worker to load, unload and transport materials on varied sites. You will also assist with erecting forms, scaffolding, paving, and site preparation while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Clean and lubricate cranes
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Instruct apprentices
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Help medical examiner in charge
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
