Job summary

Aire D3 inc. in Saint-Amable, QC is seeking a Construction labourer who is self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Position available: Permanent employment, Full time.

Must start promptly and be available for early morning shifts with overtime. Salary $25.00 to $30.00 hourly; 32–50 hours per week. Responsibilities include loading materials, erecting forms, mixing concrete, assisting demolition, cleaning spills, and operating related equipment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French language.
• No formal education requirements.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in related industry.
• Certifications in Asbestos abatement training, PPE training, CSTS, WHMIS, and Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards.
• Able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Candidate should be accurate, client-focused, dependable, and a good team player.
• Must be hardworking, flexible, reliable, and have excellent oral communication skills.
• Willing to work long hours outdoors and in dusty/hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in demolition of buildings.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Tend to or feed construction machines and equipment.

• The candidate must be skilled in the construction of industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.
