Job summary

SSJ CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS in Brampton, ON is hiring a Construction helper. You will load, unload, transport materials and assist with mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete and asphalt, plus framing and roof construction tasks on active sites. Training is provided; no formal education is required.

English fluency is required; Hindi and Panjabi are assets. You must be a team player, hardworking, and able to work on construction sites in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• The candidate will be required to assist in the framing of houses, the erection of walls, and the construction of roofs.
• The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must assist in the demolition of buildings.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
