Job summary

Source Concrete Pumping and Placing Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a Construction helper to join our team. The role is permanent, full-time and based in Surrey, with immediate start available. You will assist with general site tasks and support our crew on concrete projects.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has good interpersonal skills, and is willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Training is provided on site and safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Previous experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• Assist heavy equipment operators.
• Pave and rake asphalt.
• Clean and stack salvaged materials.
