Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of Health & Safety experience in construction.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., CHSO, CRSP) are an asset.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license required.

We’re looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to lead our safety practices across active construction sites while supporting office operations that keep our business running smoothly. What You’ll Do
Construction Health & Safety [80%]
  • Lead site safety inspections, audits, and risk identification
  • Conduct and support accident/incident investigations
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation and COR standards
  • Deliver safety training, orientations, and monthly bulletins
  • Liaise with external safety consultants and MOL
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors on Safe Job Procedures
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings and job hazard assessments
Office & Company Administration [20%]
  • Maintain office functionality, supplies, and vendor coordination
  • Liaise with landlord on facilities, health & safety, and services
  • Support vehicle and equipment insurance and telecom needs
  • Assist with events, staff onboarding, and company communications
What You Bring
  • 2–3+ years of Health & Safety experience in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety regulations, WSIB processes, and COR
  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • Safety certifications [e.g., CHSO, CRSP] are a strong asset
  • Skilled in site audits, accident investigation, hazard identification
  • Administrative experience in office operations or coordination
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and safety management software
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Confidence to walk active job sites and lead with influence
