Job summary

Amico Group of Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to bolster commercial and operational performance across projects. You will bridge finance, operations, and project delivery by providing insights, cost analyses, forecasting, and performance reporting.

You will collaborate with project managers, estimators, finance teams, and leadership to support decision-making, manage risk, and improve profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in a commercial, financial, or business analyst role within construction or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of project financials, cost control, and commercial management.
• Experience with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project financial performance including budgets, cost-to-complete, cash flow, margins, and variance analysis.
• Support monthly project cost reports and commercial dashboards.
• Assist with forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial modelling for current and future projects.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.
• Monitor contract compliance, change management, and cost control with project teams.
• Review and analyze change orders, claims, and commercial correspondence.
• Track key commercial KPIs across projects and divisions.
• Develop standardized commercial processes and reporting tools.
• Support bid and proposal teams with commercial inputs and risk assessments.
• Review tender documentation and contractual terms.
