Job summary

Nekison Engineering and Contractors Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our on-site team in Etobicoke, ON. You will read blueprints and specifications, prepare labour and material cost estimates, and manage tender analyses and bids.

Responsibilities include preparing pre-qualification submissions, performing cost monitoring, and liaising with engineers and contractors to adjust estimates as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction estimating.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Strong cost estimation, material and labor analysis.
• Proficient with CADD or related estimating software.
