Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will handle tasks such as preparing and reviewing estimates for construction projects, coordinating with the project management team, and analyzing construction drawings and specifications for accuracy.

Who You Are:

• 5-8 years of estimating experience; construction experience is an asset
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Experience in estimating and bidding for general contracts
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization skills
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
• Project management or construction supervision experience is a plus
• Accountability and solution-oriented mindset
• Forward-thinking and resilient attitude

Responsibilities include preparing quotes and proposals, selecting subcontractors, analyzing tender drawings, attending site visits, developing estimates, maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring bid compliance.
