Job summary

PagnottaInc. is hiring an Operator/Labourer to support our construction division on fast-paced commercial projects shaping the Edmonton skyline. You will operate skid steers, telehandlers, forklifts, and other equipment under the Site Superintendent’s guidance.

This year-round, full-time role requires safety focus, teamwork, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life and travel insurance, RRSP matching up to 4%, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, or multi-family construction is an asset.
• Experience operating construction equipment in a commercial construction environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment including skid steers, telehandlers, forklifts, loaders, compactors, and other equipment as required.
• Perform site preparation activities, including excavation support, grading, material distribution, and site cleanup.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with the installation and removal of temporary site infrastructure, including fencing, hoarding, signage, and protection systems.
• Support carpenters, concrete crews, equipment operators, and other trades as required.
• Perform demolition, cleanup, and waste management activities.
• Assist with earthworks, landscaping, and exterior site development activities.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair requirements.
• Maintain accurate records related to equipment operation, inspections, and maintenance.
• Follow construction drawings, site plans, and supervisor instructions.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
