Pagnotta Inc. is seeking self-motivated construction workers for upcoming work in Edmonton, AB. This entry-level role offers a path to leadership positions within 5–7 years while gaining hands-on experience on a mid-size structural concrete team.

Responsibilities include assisting trades, inventory, site housekeeping, material handling, and operating equipment with internal training provided. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential for advancement and long-term work.

Qualifications

• Entry-level opportunity with potential to advance to Foreman or Superintendent within 5–7 years.
• Steel toe boots required.
• WHMIS 2015 training is required (can be provided).
• CSTS 2020 Fundamentals required for those with less than five years experience (can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist trades with duties as needed.
• Inventory counting and management.
• Unload/load materials.
• Site cleanup and organization.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and guardrails.
• Dig trenches and assist with concrete work.
• Operate skid steer, zoom boom, and AWP (training provided).
• Rigging support.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Assist trades with any duties they need help with
• Inventory counting and management
• Unloading and loading materials
• Site cleanup and organization (housekeeping)
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary hoarding, guardrails
• Digging trenches, chipping concrete, snow removal, flagging, pour watching
• Operate skid steer, zoom boon, aerial work platform (internal training provided)
• Rigging

Working Conditions

• 44 hours per week. Most shifts start at 7:00 am but hours may vary based on site requirements.
• Overtime and work on weekends as required.
• Long term, steady, year-round work
• Two paid 15-minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
• Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required
• Working at heights

Requirements

• Steel toe boots required

• Ability to run a skid steer, zoom boom or AWP is considered an asset
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Most sites are accessible by public transportation
• Prior concrete, carpentry or general construction experience considered an asset
